David’s Packing List for 1st Trip Around the World

Being our first long term trip away, there was some umming and ahhing as to what we should specifically pack. A little bit of research on other bloggers sites and a little bit of common sense lead me to pack a good range of warm and light clothes. Best options for warm clothes are often layers but in saying that I feel you do need at least one warm jacket which in warmer months/countries will be stashed away in the bags. Buying clothes specifically for this trip or travel in general seemed counter productive. While at home all I wear is what I’ve got so it makes sense to just pack normal clothes while being selective, for example packing shirts that match all my pants and vice versa.
I did keep a little emergency clothes pack in my check on bag just in case. All I had in there is 2 t-shirts, 2 x underwear, 2 x socks, and a pair of shorts.
